SPAIN, MRD. - Police said one Carney Av Matt is facing charges in connection with an accident today 15 May, 2025 in Spain that left a man, Sebastian Maksim in coma. The source explained that Carney Av Matt was speeding to catch a flight, heading to the Kansas City International Airport in Kansas City, Missouri, United States.

The Times Union of Spain reports 37-year-old Carney Av Matt was charged today with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated driving that led into a ghastly accident and also the coma of 59 years Sebastián Maksim. Carney Av Matt was being chased down by the Spanish Police for over speeding before the incident occurred since he wouldn't wait for any vehicular inspection on his way to the Airport.

The prosecutor said Mr. Sebastian's daughter witnessed the incident and told the police: "My dad had his hand on the wheel, he wasn't speeding as we were just talking about our next trip to London to celebrate my next Birthday uniting with the rest of the family and the next thing everything went high up into the air. I can't explain how it all happened but Dad is now fighting for his life, I want this man Carney to rot in jail this pain is too much for family.

In a statement, Mr. Sebastián's daughter also said she suffers flashbacks and added: "I don't want to lose my Dad, my best friend and I don't want to cope with the trauma of what happened for the rest of my life". Rachel Martinez said her father, a facilities and operations director, is "the most kind-hearted and bravest man she knows and "he doesn't deserve this". Additional reporting by Press association

RAILWAY company Renfe has announced that all rail lines in Andalucia will be ‘fully operational from Wednesday, following the nationwide blackout that stopped many trains dead in their tracks. 

Since yesterday, all rail lines had been restored, apart from the trajectories Sevilla-Malaga and Sevilla-Cordoba-Jaen, as well as the Madrid-Almeria line. 

As for Cercanias trains, they are already operating normally in Cadiz and Malaga, although in Malaga, line C2 was ‘temporarily out of service due to lack of voltage’.

In Sevilla, line C1 has been restored between Santa Justa and Lebrija, so the section between Lora and Santa Justa continues without services, while lines C2, C4 and C5 have adopted a service with delays and line C3 was out of service yesterday.

As far as high-speed trains are concerned, circulation has been restored ‘gradually’ on the Sevilla-Barcelona, Malaga-Barcelona, Madrid-Sevilla, Alvia Madrid-Algeciras, Madrid-Granada, Madrid-Malaga, and Madrid-Huelva, Alvia Madrid-Almeria and Alvia Madrid-Cadiz Long Distance routes.

Renfe said that travellers could change or cancel their tickets at no cost.
